Wordpress downloading instead of installing on MAMP [closed]

Wordpress downloading instead of installing on MAMP [closed] I've installed about 10 or so Wordpress websites for local development with MAMP on a few different computers. Now I'm suddenly having an issue where I cannot get Wordpress to install. Rather than install easily like it should (and use to) it now just downloads a php file from whatever url I attempt to go to. For example if I type in http://blog:8888 (where my local dev is), it downloads a file called "download" rather than doing the actual setup. I do have a wp-config.php file (which also will download if I attempt to run it). Here's the weird thing, I've tried to create a test.php file with and THAT also downloads. Now, all other sites that I've had installed up to this point will run all the PHP, but there is something strange happening with this one...this issue is occurring on at least 2 machines. Anyone else have this problem and found a way to solve it?
